Ladies and gentlemen, i present to you tim hain, one of the greatest human beings i know. Read through some of his journal, he’s quite intelligent. Could probably do just about anything he put his mind to. Quite a selfless individual. Good luck in the future tim.

In my search to find out how to claim the compilation cd i just won out of a coke bottle cap, i came across the site of the canadian version of the univseral page. I must say that it has to be one of the ugliest corporate sites i have ever seen and could probably pull a better one out of my ass. I think they have an 8 year old with clip art making it. Universal is currently owned by Seagrams which is a canadian company. You think they could do a better job.
Saw Gone in Sixty Seconds tonite. Definitely doesn’t have a complex plot line or anything, but it’s a great high octane, high adrenaline rush. The driving is awesome, supposedly nick cage did his own driving for it. You almost have an orgasm as he has the ‘67 mustang over 90mph and then hits the nitro, even loses the helicopter chasing him. Go see it for the cars. Should probably goto bed soon if i want to get up to go do yearbook work. Damn.

Done school, done done done. Wrote my last exam this morning. I’m done high school, off to university next year. Going into computer science at queens. Working on a new design for conform, it should be live soon.

Surfstation is a cool site, good place for info on design sites as well as some inspiration.
Just finished watching Clerks. I enjoyed it, they were some really funny parts. You also have to remember it’s a low budget indie film. Deffinitly one of the best indie films i’ve ever seen.

Hmm, had an exam thursday and one this morning, been studying a lot, haven’t been around the computer too much. Just occasionally for breaks, downloading mp3s or something. The exams werent too hard and now i have four days to study for my last exam. Hmm, will i use em all? Probably not. Anyway, Conform has been updated. Finally. It’s been taking awhile between updates, everyone is busy.

Hmm, alladvantage actually paid me a couple days ago. Haven’t put the banner on in a long time. I used the money and went out and bought a couple cds. Got Victory Style 4 and Everything is Nice, a 10th anniversary compilation by Matador Records. Did pretty well on most of my tests last week. One day of school left then exams. I’m happy. More studying tonite. All will be done soon.

Nothing much to say really, been trying to stay away from the internet, get some studying done. Been downloading a bunch of indie music lately, hardcore/emo. Guess the scene in Brockville is starting to come alive again. There’s a show tonite downtown with Weights and Measures and a couple other bands, not going to get to it tonite though. Too bad, havent been to a show in awhile. Can’t even remember the last one i was at, shutdown show maybe.

A new desktop is up, it’s called relax. I also upped two better higher quality jpgs for the orange desktop. Enjoy. Had a good day today, grad goodbye day. Had fun with everyone, got really dirty and yelled a lot. Coached soccer tonite, the team won 9-0. Other team had some injuries or something. Biology term test tomorrow, time to go study.

A cool concept by Stephen King. Not one of my favourite authors, but interesting in terms of grasping the internet media to get yourself to as many audiences as possible.
June 13, 2000
Listening to turning tricks by New Bomb Turks, good tune. Time to go study for part of my physics exam tomorrow. I don’t need physics anymore so i don’t care as much as I should. Bad attitude.
I wonder if the RIAA is suffering from a mild retardation. Do they know that beyond shutting down the servers, it’s pretty much impossible remove all copyrighted material from the service. Who knows.

Ryan told me about vir2l awhile ago, checked it out again this weekend. Looked at stuff i hadn’t seen before, i love the animations and desktops, downloaded the two screensavers awhile ago.
Interesting read on the death of intellectual property at the National Post. I found the article through slashdot, the national post wasnt a site that i tended to check daily.
Well the lab test went allright, didnt do badly, didnt do great. Physics test did do well, didnt do as badly as i thought, still not good though. Started painting the wall this aft with Alissa and managed to get oil based paint on my shorts, supposedly it doesn’t come out, we’ll see. I’m sure modern science has come of with some sort of deadly chemical. Bah, shut up, i have a goatee, therefore i have style.

Google cuts out the crap and gets to the point. Good search engine for projects and stuff, helps you find almost anything you need to know. Is too much information a bad thing? Could be i guess.
Two and a half more weeks and high school is done. Not really looking forward to the weeks ahead tho, lots of studying to do for tests and exams. Crunch time for the yearbook, blah. Allergies are bad today, itchy eyes make me feel more tired than i actually am.
New desktop: orange, posed in the desktops section.
June 10, 2000
well, i got linked from some sort of fonts site, run by people who don’t speak english. can’t really tell what the site’s about
Another day. Watched Man on the Moon tonite. Jim Carrey did a great job acting in it, think the academy does have something against him? Not saying he should have beat Kevin Spacey, but he should have been nominated. Going to start studying for exams this weekend, about time, as usual i’ve been putting it off. Helped Alissa draw the grad goodbye day thing on the wall today, did the original layout for it, looks good.
June 8, 2000
Yah i’m bored, leave me alone. I have part of a physics test tomorrow so i’ve been doing some studying. Coached soccer tonite, my team won 3-1. Yea! Back to ze books.

You thought fight club was hard core, check out The Quilting Society, a badass link brought to you by laura.
Hmm, how about you go and vote for the capital of the world. Toronto is up on top right now, is it because it’s just the best place to be or because the site is being promoted by Canadians. I really couldnt tell you.
June 6, 2000
Conform has been updated at long last. After a few problems and stuff. Anyway, the fourth installment is up, created by Tom Srisook, go check it out.
Between homework, studying for test, soccer and yearbook i haven’t had a whole lot of time to do much of anything. Way too much work at school the next week or so. I’ll try to get something more interesting up soon. Got a haircut and shaved tonite. That doesn’t happen often =). Back to the books.

My biology isp involves writing a 750 word report on the clam shrimp. Man, it’s a great thing i’m doing this. I really need to know how the clam shrimp functions as part of our world. I don’t think i could devote my life to the study of one organism.
Didn’t do much of anything yesterday. Lazy afternoon, cut the lawn. Helped doug some more with his page last night, it’s looking good. Rented fight club again last night. Around 12:10am is deffinitly the time to rent movies, you essentially get another day out of it. It’s a great movie, if you haven’t seen it, rent it now. One of my favourite movies, lots of stuff to think about. I’m off to do my biology isp that’s worth a good chunk of my mark. Damn, i’m going to hate school again this week.
June 3, 2000
Done another week of school, only a couple left to go. Yearbook’s coming along well, lots of pages and stuff done this week. Won’t have as much as I thought to do in the summer. Watched Sleepy Hollow tonite. It was allright, found parts of it were very cheesy and they could have done a better job, especially the blood. Not rated as one of my top films of all time, glad i didn’t pay to see it in the theatre.

Ever been to abandon.org? Go there, marissa does a great job, good design and lots of content. Of course half my links recently have been from her site. Maybe you came from there. Don’t look at me like that. I’m not crazy!
