Hmm a satellite photo of where i live. I’m in one of those houses down there. And that pic was taken 6 years ago, they can probably read a book over my shoulder now.

To the home of doug’s suburban cult we go. Gonna help doug out with some web design. I think that’s three people i’ve promised to help. Better remember all of em.

If you ever read slashdot, you probably know about the Matchbox PC, if not, go check it out. Easy to lose, but it’d be cool to have one.

If you’ve never heard of HSE, go check it out. Originally it was just the movie exchange, but they added music awhile back. You can trade movies and stars like stocks and bonds, same with music artists. I’m starting to play it again, i used to play it a lot, but haven’t as much lately. Good for movie geeks, you get an idea of what’s going on. Next on my list would have to be Gone in 60 seconds, looks cool.

Well it’s nice to know that the government has deleted one of their databases tracking us Canadians. Well at least they’re pretending to delete it, who knows if they actually did or if it was just a mock up. Maybe i’ll go into hiding or something.

This is good, it’s so true too. Deliverance as a game, couldnt see that one getting by the censors. Hmm. I’m going to bed.

If you’ve never checked it out before, goto User Friendly. It’s a comic strip. Made for the intenet geek, lots of geek humor. Maybe that’s why i like it. Ahh, geek!

Had all my tests and quizes today. Brain was fried afterwards, still is. Did some yearbook stuff, then went with ian to see Mission Impossible 2. I thought it was better than the first one. Was one of the better action flicks, i’ve seen. Good and intense, the romance seemed kind of awkward and out of place. Other than a few overdone things it was good. Heather got home tonite. Screwed up some by going up to see the movie tonite. Whoops, i’ll see her tomorrow. Triple espresso’s going to keep me up. Blah.

Didn’t have to coach soccer tonite, games were cancelled. Fields were too wet. Finished that bio isp up last night so it was out of the way tonite. Just taking a 10 minute break from studying, two quizzes and two tests tomorrow. Too much bloody work. Why do they always make sure everything comes together at the same time so you feel like you have way too much to do? huh? that’s it, back to the books.

Spent a few hours working on a biology project with matt yee tonite. Loads of fun, trying to name little organisms we found in pond water (using a microscope). It’s a pain in the ass. We found a great site if you ever have to name organisms and only have their common name. Time to go finish some other homework and get to bed.

Lazy day, was woken up early (well relatively speaking) and was ordered to go cut my grandmother’s grass. Fun stuff, I think I’m allergic to grass. Didn’t do much of anything this afternoon. Been finishing off homework that i should have done allready. Watched Con Air too. I’ve seen it before, but the other choice on television was Men in Black; tough descision. Haha, gnite.

» Posted at 11:52PM

Just finished watching Being John Malkovich. Amazing movie, one of the more bizzare one’s that I’ve seen recently. Go pick it up. The whole concept is totally off the wall and makes you think about everything, who we are and all that. It’s funny as hell too. Been on a movie kick recently, reading too, have to get some school work done. That’s for tomorrow I guess.

Baseball, the great american past time, god forbid the thought of their hallowed players on juice or the thought that the players are just getting better, there has to be some sort of conspiracy.

Put up a new desktop in the desktops section earlier this evening. Watched The World is Not Enough tonite with mike, pat and cameron. It’s bond, that about sums it up, totally unrealistic but good for cheap thrills.

Not a whole lot doing today. Was going to work on some pages for yearbook, brought a bunch of stuff home on cd. Forgot to bring home the grad mug shots tho, so i can’t do those. Hmm, been reading one of Tom Clancy’s Net Force series books, my dad bought two of em. They’re allright books, easy reads. I don’t buy novels too often, find i go through them too fast, when i have time to read anyway. Sometimes reading a book is a pain in the ass, i don’t want to put them down. I compare it to watching a movie; would you want to watch a movie in 15 minute chunks, stopping it, then picking up where you left off the next day? Nah.

Just finished watching Raging Bull, directed by Scorsese, staring Robert DeNiro. I enjoyed the movie, job well done. It’s older, but was one of the movies on my list of movies to see. It was made in 1980, DeNiro won an oscar for best actor for his performance. In my opinion he definitely deserved it, he did a great job.
Pretty lazy day today, had a couple quizes that i didnt do to well on, oh well, i didn’t really study for them at all. Stayed afterwards and did somework on the yearbook, i think i’ve figured out who’s going to be design editor next year, so i can start training him. It’s great to know that they’ll be covered next year.

been listening to papa roach a lot lately. Good heavy music. Job interview went well today, well i think so anyway. Physics test? Well, that could be bad, could be good. I’m leaning toward the bad personally.

if you haven’t checked out the 5k challenge yet, go do it. It’s funky. People trying to make pages under 5k. I never got around to participating.

Woohoo, i’m a geek. David Duchovny is going to return for another season of x-files. I enjoy watching the show, havent had as much time to this year tho.

Canada is one of the greatest places in the world to live, but i find this kind of scary. We’re usually ones for setting standards as far as politically correctness and all that goes. As long as something doesnt get screwed up over there and all our personal info gets out.

New design is live now. I like it, one of the best i’ve done. That’s it, time to go do some more homework. Yah, lots of homework, it never goes away. Have to decide what university I want to goto. Right now i’m thinking Computer Science at Queens, possibly engineering.

» Posted at 11:26PM

Interesting study; the web is not continuous, rather shaped like a bowtie. That’s it for now, time to go study for my physics. Blah. Never got around to doing all of it last night.

Finishing up a lab for biology class right now. Then i have to do some work on my physics. Have a little test and quiz tomorrow. This site will be ready to go live soon, just have to finish the art and desktops sections and upload the font previews.

Had a pretty good weekend, had the provincial championships for Reach for the Top saturday and sunday in Kingston. We had a rockin day on saturday, went 5-1 (lost to a team that ended up 10-0), started off the day badly today and ended up 1-3 for the day for a final record of 6-4. It placed us 15 out of 40 teams, it’s respectable, but we knew we could have done a lot better, should have been around 6th. Tim and Mike Hain we’re a little bit off today. I had a great day personally, some of my best personal scores, had a 130, a 90 and a 100.

The start of the blog. What to write? Not much. Conform has been patched up, it had a few problems that i didn’t notice before. Brian is working on the next installment of conform. We’ll see what he turns out. Did a splash for the-battle the other night. Mad props to Ryan Mills for the site, it rocks. That’s it for now.
