My name is Dave Kellam and this is eightface.com, my perennial soapbox and clearinghouse for random information. I just finished up my MA in Book Design at the University of Reading in the UK. I'm currently living a nomadic existence and looking for a solid design job to gain some work experience.
The man, the myth, the legend
- I was born in 1981
- I'm Canadian
- I have two younger brothers
- I have one wonderful girlfriend
- We have two cats that are currently living the spoiled life with relatives back home
- I've been creating websites for a long long time
- In high-school, I made a number of dodgy typefaces
- I completed two undergraduate degrees at Queen's University (in Computer Science and Education)
- My current machine is a MacBook
- I'm powered by Diet Coke and coffee

- The weblog started May 9, 2000
- Some bits are older than that
- The name doesn't mean anything, it's just two words
- The was initially powered by Blogger, then by Movable Type, now it's experiencing WordPress love
- Dreamhost has been my home for seven years
